What’s New With the 2024 BMW M 1000 XR

The new 2024 BMW M 1000 XR differs from anything you’ve seen before. Since the introduction of the M model range strategy for motorcycles in 2018, it has improved significantly over time. The 2024 BMW M 1000 XR, the third model of this series, comes with an offering you’ve never seen.

High-Performance M XR 4-Cylinder Engine 

The new 2024 BMW M 1000 XR features a powerful M XR 4-cylinder engine developed based on the RR engine to produce more peak power (148 kW, 201 hp at 12,750 rpm), which is 23 kW and 31 hp more than the new S 1000 XR model. The engine makeup also produces a higher torque of 113 Nm, which is reached quickly at 11,000 rpm and a maximum engine speed of 14,600 rpm. It also features a shorter gear ratio combined with other engine features to provide improved traction at the rare wheel, increased pulling power, and easy acceleration.

Brake Slide Assist 

Have better control over speed and stops with the new brake slide assist that helps you when you brake while drifting. This feature is especially important for race track riders and allows them to keep a constant slide on the brake when drifting into corners. 

Customized Chassis for Performance-oriented Riding 

The new 2024 BMW M 1000 XR featured a customized chassis that enhances riding performance on race tracks and county roads. It also features Dynamic Damping Control (DDC), an adjustable steering damper, an adjustable spring base, and a milled-over handlebar clamp. Another interesting feature is a more front-oriented tubular handlebar with laser-etched “BMW M XR” lettering. 

Lightweight Construction for Optimum Ride
